An Unusual relationship........

One of my ewe lambs from Boulderneigh, Bevin, has taken an unlikely liking to the emus. At first I thought it was just by coincidence that she lay down next to their fence, but I've found her there many times and see her nose to beak with Fred or Ginger (the emus names are Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers....):) Not sure what they're saying to each other but it must be comforting because then they usually lay down near each other....too bad some people can't be as accepting of differences.....

Oh yes, I do agree. Those two are cute in that photo.

My horse seem to be attracted to our chickens. Anytime I handgraze her next to the house, she eventually leads me closer and closer to the coop. She will speak to them with snorts and little snuffing sounds. It's really cute.

And my chickens look as if they are plastered to their chicken wire, just so they can get closer to my horse. haha!

It never ceases to amaze me how animals have likes and dislikes that cross species lines.

A sheep and an emu...how wonderful and how laugh out loud funny at the same time.

I really wonder what people without animals do with themselves...what do they think about...what do they watch...what makes them smile? Must be a very weird life, huh?
