Obviously, I'm not talking about myself, but my young male peacock.
He is SURE that he is the most gorgeous thing on two legs!!
He finally has one big feather with an eye on the end but the rest of what he has to offer is pretty bland. It doesn't slow him down one bit and if he doesn't get a response from one girl he tries another.... From what I can see, no one finds him the least bit interesting....yet.....except the person with the camera! :)
"Listen Bub! You're just NOT my type!!"
"WHAT?? You MUST be kidding!!!"
Sigh.....well maybe next year?? :)

Oh my! How funny! Isn't he a sight with those long gangly legs and his but up in the air with nothing to show for it? I bet he'll blow the ladies away next year though, even that snobby Guinea!
Poor Fella - all talk and no action, huh? You are brave having a peacock - they are so darn noisy!
The pictures of your dogs were just beautiful - what a wonderful treasure to have - I have all my pictures on a slideshow for my screensaver - it still makes me sad when pictures of Neelix come up....we miss him so much.
Are you going to come up for our Spin In on Saturday? Should be fun and I guess Celia Quinn is a good speaker. Let me know if you need directions - the High School is really easy to get to. :-) T.
Lol, peacock males are beautiful but they make so much noise! Our garden is way to small to house one - besides, our dogs would have a field day stealing all those beautiful feathers... :-)
Ha Ha!! I hope you've actually got a pea hen running around there!! Otherwise those guineas are going to have a problem!!!
Too funny :) His blue is beautiful! Has he tried showing off for the emus yet? I'm sure he will be beautiful really soon!
Amy-he definitely gets me laughing just watching him.
Tina-for some reason he really isn't very noisy...I rarely hear him call. Maybe if I had another male...even then I'm not sure he could hold a candle to my guineas!!
Eve-yes, he does have a peahen, I guess since she wasn't impressed with his display that he would try it out on the others.:)
Shannon, he has no trouble stealing food from the emus but I think they are a little intimidating to him as breeding partners! :)
Oh my, Bella has made it to the head of the blog!
BWHAHAHAHA! Thanks for the laughs.
The chickens and Guinea ignoring him. hehe
I think he's handsome, but he woulnd't be interested in me, I'm sure. lol!
I've never seen an immature peacock before. I'm excited about seeing how he turns out when his 'eyes' develop. :)
