A Fine Fall Day
Gallo has found a new home with a flock of girls to call his own. He leaves today. I decided to get a couple last pics of him and the ram lambs I still have for sale, as well as some of Dulcie now that she doesn't have to wear her "bug armor".
I have to say that the lighting that clouds bring makes for some gorgeous colors, and the crispness in the air makes for some perky animals. :)
The Serama trio were out looking for some tasty morsels, they get real excited when I turn over any pans that have been sitting there for awhile....I kind of feel bad for the earthworms though....
The ducks, being Call Ducks, follow me around and loudly insist on me feeding them. Trying to explain that I was only out to take pictures didn't seem to console them much.....
Anytime the ducks mention food, the peacocks show up.......
FOOD? Did someone mention food???Dulcie, being the more camera shy, was the loser in this race.....:)
Once the hay is down, everyone is all business....
One last pic of Gallo.....
"HEY LADY! knock it off with the camera already!!!"
Two of my four Shetland ram lambs remaining still looking for a home.....
I'll finish this post with some shots of Dulcie enjoying the morning......

You certainly did justice to the beautiful fall day. We are having one here in WI, too. Thank heavens!
They all look so happy. Beautiful shots.
Now if those aren't just the cutest things - all of them. Beautiful animals and beautiful views. I loved them! Thank you. Fun! I'm sure I'll be back to see it all again.
I'm so glad to hear that Gallo has found a new home with some more girls. Great pictures! Your feathered friends are all beautiful and Dulcie is certainly enjoying herself!
Great last picture of Gallo that made me laugh. I loved all the pictures of the birds, and your horse is super cute too. I'm glad you got outside and enjoyed the lovely weather.
So nice to see some of the animals at Wrensong Farm again; it's been too long, friend!
Love especially the pics of her running with hay in her mouth. As though, despite being in the middle of lunch, she suddenly just HAD to run a bit.......... :-)
Beautiful pictures, love the beautiful mare! The pictures with all the critters eating together are esp. nice--they look almost surreal with the way the light plays in them.

The lighting is surreal! Beautiful photos. I love the pic of all the sheep, horse and llama together. Peace reins.
How are you doing?

Tammy, I Love Love Love your little horse!! So pretty. Is she sweet?? Great pictures...
As usual, wonderful photos! I agree with the person who mentioned the lighting, it's surreal. Oh how I miss my friendly little call ducks, yours look so cute! And the Seramas are beautiful chickens.
Great pictures. All the animals look like they're having a great time.
Wanted to let you know I nominated you for a BEST BLOG AWARD. You can read about it at Rural Ramblings.
Enjoy!
We love Gallo. He is the coolest llama. He watches his sheep quite well. Thanks for letting him come to our place.
Dulcie is very photogenic! All the animals are, especially with the gorgeous backdrop you have there. Just splendid.
