A Fine Fall Day

Gallo has found a new home with a flock of girls to call his own. He leaves today. I decided to get a couple last pics of him and the ram lambs I still have for sale, as well as some of Dulcie now that she doesn't have to wear her "bug armor".

I have to say that the lighting that clouds bring makes for some gorgeous colors, and the crispness in the air makes for some perky animals. :)

The Serama trio were out looking for some tasty morsels, they get real excited when I turn over any pans that have been sitting there for awhile....I kind of feel bad for the earthworms though....

The ducks, being Call Ducks, follow me around and loudly insist on me feeding them. Trying to explain that I was only out to take pictures didn't seem to console them much.....

Anytime the ducks mention food, the peacocks show up.......
FOOD? Did someone mention food???Dulcie, being the more camera shy, was the loser in this race.....:)

Once the hay is down, everyone is all business....
One last pic of Gallo.....
"HEY LADY! knock it off with the camera already!!!"

Two of my four Shetland ram lambs remaining still looking for a home.....

I'll finish this post with some shots of Dulcie enjoying the morning......

Love especially the pics of her running with hay in her mouth. As though, despite being in the middle of lunch, she suddenly just HAD to run a bit.......... :-)

Beautiful pictures, love the beautiful mare! The pictures with all the critters eating together are esp. nice--they look almost surreal with the way the light plays in them.

We love Gallo. He is the coolest llama. He watches his sheep quite well. Thanks for letting him come to our place.
